Thomas Jefferson Tunisia Undergraduate  Scholarships Description

For the Thomas Jefferson Scholarship Program, the 2020-2021 Tunisia Undergraduate Scholarship Program, in this program the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the United States Department of State, will provide the opportunities needed for the undergraduate students from Tunisia for one academic year of full-time, non-degree study in the United States. Meanwhile, the candidate will attend four-year universities and colleges and will live on-campus housing (apartments).
Though for you as participants to complete your program, you will submit U.S transcripts to their home institution to determine if the credits are transferable.
The program will provide participants with a deeper understanding of American culture and new globally-applicable skills and expertise to help them contribute to the growth and development of Tunisia.You may not choose the U.S host University. A broad extent of academic fields of study are eligible, including humanities, social sciences, applied sciences, natural and physical sciences, arts, and others.
Try to make sure that if you are studying at the ISSAT (Institut Supérieur des Sciences Appliquées et de Technologie), ISETS, and IHETs are not eligible for Tunisia UGRAD but should apply for the Tunisia Community College Scholarship Program (TCCSP). Students should identify their program field of study on their application. This field should be sapped from the standard university/college curriculum within the United States.
For your information, students may not apply impersonal coursework while on the Tunisia UGRAD Program.

Technical Eligibility Requirements

The Thomas Jefferson Scholarship Program doesn't differentiate against applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, or any other special protect as established by U.S. law. For the Tunisia Contention of Undergraduate Scholarship Program is merit-based and open to anyone who:
  • Is residing in Tunisian
  • •Is a Tunisian citizen;
  • •Is currently enrolled as a first-or second-year full-time undergraduate (Licence) student standing for good application to register academic institution in Tunisia; o Architecture students are eligible in their first -, second-, third-, or fourth-year of study.
For those studying engineering areeligible in  their first-, or second-year (preparatory classes), and third-and fourth-year of undergraduate study.  If you are currently residing in Tunisia, you must:
  • Has a demonstrated record of academic excellence.
  • Have been able to receive a U.S. J-1 visa;
  • Be at least 18 years old by July 1, 2020;
  • At least have been committed to return to Tunisia after completion of the program.
  • Be able to achieve a TOEFL score of 500 (PBT)

Application Procedure:

For your application to be complete online. Applicants must fill all the required out all required parts needed in the application and provide contact information for two references.
